SDH JAGRAON is located on Ludhiana Ferozepur
highway near bus stand,providing preventive and
medical treatment facilities to the patients of Jagraon
and surrounding villages.
The population of Jagraon Urban area is 76306 with targeted eligible couple 9765, being covered by 7 ANMS .This Institute also has 15 ASHA workers which are providing curative and preventive health services to the Jagraon residence .There are also covering slum areas of Jagraon tehsil .
SDH JAGRAON through is Health worker and ANMS are conducting awareness rallies regarding health life style.ANMS and ASHA workers are going house to house for registration of pregnant mothers and make their ANC cards .These health workers also cover vaccination of pregnant mothers and all the children age from 1 to 5 years. They also play an important role in Pulse Polio and Inder Dunish national rounds. SDH JAGRAON has 2 health inspector(MPHS) and 12 MPHW .They cover awareness rallies regarding Malaria ,Dengue and chikun Gunya .They also take water samples of Jagraon city and look into sanitation problem of the area.Regular antisecticide sprays of the areas are conducted.Recentaly SDH JAGRAON has put Gambuzia fish into the ponds of the area to check breeding of mosquitoes .They also go to house to house to make molaria slides.
SDH JAGRAON is 60 bedded institute with its bed occupancy rate (BOR) more then 120 
located on the highway, It is rending Emergency/ Trauma care services upto secondary level with back up of 3 ambulance and 108 services .SDH Jagraon has 2 trauma surgeons, 1 Pediatrician,2 Gynecologists ,2 ophthalmologists ,,1 skin ,1 ENT surgeons ,1 Psychiatrist ,1 Dental surgeon.
Besides this here is given free services under Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojana and RSBY to the card holders.

Very shortly SDH Jagraon is to start its own Blood bank and which would be state of art in this area. Recently SDH Jagraon has acquired auto analyzer which is upto the mark of private institute.
SDH JAGRAON is rendering free transport referral services to emergency and MCH patients.
SDH JAGRAON has its immunization which centre attached with P.P unit is giving daily vaccination like BCG , Hep. B , OPV, DPT, MEASLES and TT ,anti rabies and special vaccination (Pentavalent ,DPT booster ) etc. Wednesday and Saturday.
SDH JAGRAON provides free treatment to Pregnant women with , registration antenatal USG , Calcium ,Iron ,Folic Tablets,Free check up,Free deliveries,JSY (Janni Suraksha Yojna of Rs. 500/-,600/-,700/- and free stay, meals and drop back for delivery patients ,door to door immunization and total services to slum area by ANMS and ASHA Workers.
SDH JAGRAON is fully occupied with 300 x ray machine ,USG and C Arm .
Jagraon has state of art DAC for 10 patients and Rehabilitation centre for 50 patients being looked after by Psychiatrist ,counselors and social workers.
